550-0064 was completed on 27th September 1955 with a silver body and engine # P90073 and shipped to the US for its new owners Newton and Lucelle Davis. The first race was on 28th September 1957 at Bridgehampton where Newton finished 7th.

Newton raced throughout the 1958 season from Miami across to Lime Rock Thompson with his last race in June at Watkins Glen.
