550-0050 was completed on the 28th June 1955 and was one of the west coast US deliveries with the updated body design. The body was silver without any coloured darts and black interior, with engine # P90046 fitted. Unlike many spyders, it was owned by one owner for most of its competitive life, Jim Cook, who along with C. Pitt Browne Jr raced the car up until 1965.
